Our story
The Aranui Cruises adventure began in 1984, with the operation of the first cargo ship, which supplied supplies to the Marquesas Islands while offering a unique travel experience to the few passengers accepted on board.
Over the decades, the Aranui has evolved from a simple cargo ship to a hybrid cruise ship, combining cargo transport with prestigious hospitality.
With the Aranui 5, launched in 2015, and soon our new ship, the Aranoa, we have strengthened our leadership position in a niche market: adventure cruises in Polynesia. Every year, we welcome thousands of travelers from around the world who come to discover the cultural and natural richness of our islands.
