Aranui

Special recognition & awards

The unique offering and quality of service provided by Aranui have earned the cruise company international recognition.

To name just the most recent accolades: the Aranui 5 was ranked by Luxury Travel & Style magazine among the top 5 expedition cruises in the world in the category "4-star ships – 5-star experiences." In July-August 2017, Cruise Travel magazine named the Aranui 5 as "Ship of the Month." And the list of examples goes on.

An unwavering commitment to promoting and developing the Marquesas Islands, internationally acclaimed cruises, delighted passengers, unprecedented recognition for the "Land of Men," and acknowledgment by leading labels for exceptional service have all led to honouring Aranui’s management for their work:

  • Jules Wong was made a Knight of the Order of Tahiti Nui in 2015.
  • Hélène Wong was made a Knight of the National Order of Maritime Merit the same year.
  • Philippe Wong received the title of Knight of the National Order of Merit in 2016.

More than just recognition, Aranui’s management views these distinctions as encouragement to continue excelling.
